Pharmacy Excellence
The Dana-Farber Pharmacy department is an integral part of the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. Its mission is to set the standard for oncology pharmacy practice through operational efficiency, clinical education, professional development, and pioneering research. This highly-specialized department is dedicated to improving patients' quality of life, offering hope, and healing and providing education/training for patients, health care providers and the next generation of pharmacy professionals.
- Clinical pharmacy specialists and advanced practice pharmacists are integral members of the care teams across the majority of our clinical disease centers.
- Dana-Farber pharmacists contribute to the medical community with publications, posters, and presentations featured in peer-reviewed journals and showcased at prominent annual medicine and pharmacy conferences.
- Dana-Farber Cancer Institute offers three specialized ASHP-accredited PGY2 residency programs: oncology, pain & palliative care, and medication use safety and policy.
- Dana-Farber is an accredited provider of Continuing Pharmacy Education by the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE).
